Robert Licerio Prognosis

For all of you that haven't heard, Robert Licerio, had a heart attack Wed 11/31 in the morning.  He had just come back from his daily morning jog, park the car in the garage and was unable to get out of the car because he had no energy, so he laid his head back on the head rest and fainted.  Luckily Yolanda was at home ( she was supposed to go shopping with Mary Lou) Yo heard the garage door open and waited for Rob to come in, after waiting 6-7 minutes she went to the garage to see why it was taking too long, she saw Rob asleep on the head rest and tried to wake him up but to no avail.  She immediately called 911, the ambulance came and took him to the hospital.
Prognosis: Blocked artery on the right side of the heart, blood clot.  The doctors sucked out the clot or blockage in Roto-Rooter style and inserted a Stint in the artery.  He is recovering very well he was supposed to get an MRI on Friday to find out if any other damage was done to his heart.  The MRI was cancelled due to the Stint he has to wait 6-7 weeks for the MRI.
I talk to Rob to ask him what the sypmtoms were, in case it happens to me.  During his jogging routine he experience white blurred vision he rested and it went away, he kept jogging and after a while, blurred vision returned, this happen 4 times, along with shortness of breath. He finished the jog and got in the car he went to gas up the car and on the way home the blurred vision returned and he felt pressure on his chest, he also started to sweat so he park the car to assess what the hell is going on.  He wanted to go to ER, but he wanted to go home first to take a shower, ( He was one block away from the hospital ) park the car in garage and was unable to exit, no energy, thats when Yolanda found him. He is still in ICU and being monitored, so if you guys experience the symptoms you know what to do, don't be in denial like Rob.

We are all praying for you...get well soon. I think next time you jog take Willie with you as a designated driver or vice versa. As we get older, it's good to know the symptoms. Take care.

There are greater things that we can image ahead of us all, there's a great God walking besides us all.

I know that His purpose is at work with us, as He's guiding our lives with widsom and love.

"God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever image, guess or request in your wildest dreams" Ephesians 3:20

Many thanks Willie for the "Robert Blog" giving people close to Bob a first hand information of what happened to him.It so happened that it was our healing prayer day on that day and included him in our prayers. After our prayers I proceeded to St Rose Hospital only to find out that he is confined on the other St Rose branch not known to me and was already late that night. Josie was busy during this time with our visitors from Canada and California, her classmates in the Nursing school.
We join all the friends and relatives of Rob in their prayers for his fast recovery. May the good LORD extend his blessing and healing hand to Rob.

Robert, glad it was minor and except for the anesthesia, you are feeling well. So welcome to the club. Of course it doesn't measure up to what Sera and I had... the bypass.... ooahhh!

Hey Robert,
What the hell happened. Willy gave me a scare when he called and told me about your condition. I'm glad you're feeling much better. When we go to LV next time, we'll go to Southpoint. I understand playing the machines is very good therapy. Take care of yourself and enjoy your fruits and vegetable diet
